200 g of sweet butter
400 g of flour
100 g thick cream
2 vanilla pods
1 pinch of salt
Steps in the recipe
In the bowl of a beater, beat the butter, sugar, salt, and seeds of the vanilla pods for 5 minutes, until the mixture is creamy.Add the eggs 1 by 1, beating 30 seconds between each egg, scrape well the edges of the bowl too
Then add half flour, and continue beating at medium speed for a few seconds
Add the heavy cream and beat another 1 minute on medium speed
Finally, add the remaining flour, beat a few more seconds
Pour into a cake pan 30 to 35 cm long previously buttered and floured and put in the freezer for 15 minutes (or two small cake molds, or savarin), buttered and floured, up to 2/3 of the edge, and bake for 1 hour at 356 ° F
Wait 15 minutes before unmolding, then cool on a rack before tasting!
