Guacamole

An impromptu party is organized and you have to bring back something to snack on. Bringing something homemade is good, but when we are short on time it is complicated. Fortunately, with this express guacamole homemade recipe, you will seduce your friends. No more supermarket jars! Welcome to Mexican cuisine!

INGREDIENTS: 6 PERS.

2 avocados (very ripe)

1/2 tomato

1 bell pepper

1 lime

1 red onion

cilantro in a branch

1 pinch of cumin

tabasco

2 tbsp. tablespoon olive oil

salt pepper

PREPARATION:

Preparation

20 mins

Guacamole

Cut your avocados in half, remove the stones and collect the pulp with a spoon. Then place this pulp in the blender. Add the lemon juice, preferably green, to the blender with the avocado pulp. This will allow the avocado to retain its green color without darkening. Also, add half a tomato to this preparation and mix everything. At this point in the guacamole recipe, you can use a simple fork to mash everything.

Peel the onion and finely chop it then finely chop the pepper. Incorporate them into the preparation with the coriander, spices (cumin, tabasco), oil, salt, and pepper.

Mix everything until you get a nice smooth puree that you can keep in the fridge before serving it, having previously placed it in a bowl. Serve it very cold as an aperitif. Traditionally, Mexican guacamole is eaten with Mexican chips, but you can also present it on toast, in verrines, with breadsticks, garlic croutons, or raw vegetables.

TIPS

If your avocados are not ripe enough, you can place them one by one in the microwave for 20 seconds to soften the flesh slightly. Then let them rest for about ten minutes before preparing them. For the presentation, we can add in the easy guacamole, very small diced red tomatoes (without the seeds) to give more consistency to the preparation.
